RF Baseband and PMIC Systems Engineer

• Provide hardware design support to customers developing wireless products.
• Research and answer a wide range of in-depth technical questions related to the integration of MTK chipsets.
• Perform schematic, placement, and PCB design reviews on customer products.
• Resolve technical problems via hands-on troubleshooting.
• Aid customers to implement new technology using MediaTek chipsets.
• Provide upfront support to the business teams for new projects. Create customer-facing documentation related to MediaTek's portfolio of Baseband and PMIC products.

Special Skills or Requirements:

• BSEE/MSEE and 0 to 6 years of relevant industry experience
• Expert in electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with PCB schematic, placement and layout reviews.
• Experience with mobile platform system design and system integration.
• Experience with voltage regulators, LDO, switch mode power supplies (SMPS)
• Thorough understanding of CMOS based combinational and sequential circuits.
• Experience with high-speed and low-speed digital interfaces such as PCIe, USB, SPMI, SPI, I2C, UART, SerDes, GPIO etc.
• Experience with clock and timing devices, e.g. crystal resonator, TCXO, crystal oscillator preferred
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication (English - both written and verbal) and teamwork skills, proactive, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and produce quality work in a multi-tasking environment.
• Position may require some international travel when approved to do so (10%)
