Staff Power Management Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design PCB/probe cards and sockets in alignment with R&D test plans and ATE testing capabilities.
- Develop applications on various production test platforms to optimize throughput in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Apply measurement methodologies for PMIC/PAC products, including PMICs for mobile applications, motor control, motor drive, battery management, and fuel gauge ICs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering test projects, design verification testing, customer return cases, and qualification testing.
- Create and maintain documentation related to test systems, software designs, and the test development process.
- Conduct correlation studies, Gage R&R, and ANOVA analyses.
- Oversee test program buyoff activities in both lab and manufacturing environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Electronic, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor device development, specifically as a Design, Test Development, or Application Engineer.
- Proficient in software development and debugging for test systems, with familiarity in ATE platforms (preferably Cohu DMDX or Teradyne ETS-88).
- Solid understanding of power management devices, including functional blocks such as Buck, Boost, LDO, Charger, Driver, and MCU.
- Experience in schematic design and PCB layout.
- Strong statistical engineering data analysis and design of experiments (DOE) skills.
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership and an engineering mindset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
