Roofing Service Foreman

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Roofing Service Foreman to join our team. This role is essential to our operations, as it combines hands-on work with project management and client communication. As a Roofing Service Foreman, you will conduct roof inventories, provide estimates, define exterior building deficiencies, and make minor repairs during RTM visits. You will also play a key role in attending bid invitations and supporting the sales and service teams. This role will have room for advancement in the company as a Service Coordinator or Service Superintendent. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inventories of commercial roofs, identify exterior building deficiencies, and perform minor repairs during visits.
• Prepare detailed quotes and estimates for projects, ensuring accuracy in scope and cost.
• Attend bid invitations and complete pre-bid/job walls for all company accounts.
• Manage incoming field information for projects, ensuring clear and complete communication to relevant team members.
• Define project scope, pricing, and deliverables, collaborating with the sales team for a seamless handoff.
• Support larger projects as needed, bringing a keen attention to detail and willingness to mentor and learn.
• Manage and supervise subordinate personnel, ensuring productivity, quality and safety standards.
• Maintain basic inventory for various roof system types to ensure readiness for a range of project needs.
• Make thorough observations of roofs beyond initial issues, reporting any additional concerns. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a strong understanding of various roofing systems and roof inspections.
• Proficiency in CRM software and strong organizational skills for effective project tracking. 
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions, team coordination, and reporting.
• Proven leadership abilities to manage and support subordinate personnel.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• 10-hour OSHA or equipment safety certifications
• Sheet metal fabrication knowledge is a plus.
