Assist bidding mechanical and electrical tradesManage Equipment Procurement processDevelop MEP critical path scheduleCoordinate and track critical path constructionTrack and coordinate equipment deliveriesReview mechanical and electrical submittalsWork with subcontractors and design team to provide conflict resolution for MEP issuesCoordinate and manage the quality control process for MEP systems constructionManage startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systemsCoordinate and support third party commissioning activitiesManage commissioning documentationQualifications
4-year engineering degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.Minimum of 8 years extensive experience related to electrical / mechanical discipline. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction technology, equipment, materials, methods, required.Capable in leading and scheduling MEP activities.Preconstruction and equipment procurement experience preferred.Ability to accept project assignments that may require extended long term temporary living arrangements or frequent travel to non-local job sites.Job Competencies:SafetyTechnical SkillsPlanning & SchedulingRisk ManagementChange ManagementQuality Control & ISOLean Understanding & ImplementationAdministration & CommunicationInnovation & TechnologyCost Participation & ControlLeadership
