They use Brown & Sharpe running PC-DMISJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator to join our team. As a CMM Operator, you will be responsible for operating and programming CMM equipment to accurately measure and inspect various components and products. Your precision and attention to detail will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. A CMM programmer is responsible for creating inspection programs for CMMs, which are tools used to measure and inspect parts during manufacturing. A CMM operator runs a coordinate measuring machine during a production process, checking for accuracy during and after production.Responsibilities:Set up and operate CMM equipment to measure and inspect parts/products.Program CMM machines to perform accurate measurements based on engineering specifications.Interpret and analyze measurement data to ensure product conformance to specifications.Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any measurement discrepancies or quality issues.Document and maintain accurate records of inspection results and measurement data.Identify and communicate any potential improvements needed for parts/products being inspected.Requirements:Proven experience operating and programming CMM equipment.Strong understanding of measurement techniques and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.Proficiency in CMM software and programming languages.Excellent attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
