Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead the company’s growing sales operations. The Director will develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners, and collaborate with C-level executives. The Director will also be responsible for growing and managing a team of sales managers and ambassadors. Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the market share of our electric outboard offerings.
Blend strategic marketing programs with direct sales execution.
Assist the marketing team with developing and implementing effective promotional materials and advertising campaigns to support sales strategies and enhance brand visibility.
Develop and implement a Customer & Service Provider Roadshow, visit potential high-volume OEMs, customers, and service providers, implement dealer and supplier agreements, and serve as the company’s primary relationship manager.
Represent the company at boat shows, trade shows, and dealer meetings throughout the country and abroad.
Work with industry partners to establish Flux Marine Experience Centers to introduce potential customers to our cutting-edge technology.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product line, including technical specifications, customization options, and after-sales services to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
Drive prospecting activity and supervise a growing team of sales & marketing employees.
Manage the sales operating budget and establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in outside sales and account management within a relevant industry.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Boating knowledge is required and prior experience working in marine technology sales is preferred.
Excellent strategic and analytical skills with outstanding written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and solid organizational skills to enable follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with CRM software and excellent customer management skills.
10+ years of sales and management experience preferred.
