General Summary:
Qualcomm manages its own portfolio of real estate and QREF works with on staff Architects, Interior Designers, Construction managers and space planners to provide exceptional services to our growing employee base.
As a QREF Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating with internal and external cross functional support partners, stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of critical business projects. This role requires cross-functional collaboration and impeccable organization skills to deliver projects in a timely manner, of highest quality, and within budget.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Work independently and in conjunction with other stakeholders to manage corporate documentation archives.
Track the catalog of customer documents for all Qualcomm products' domestic sites.
Enable consistent and effective planning for construction project FF&E orders and punch items of furniture, finishes and signage.
Support multiple construction projects ongoing in various phases.
Plan requirements with Design and construction teams and track products and installations.
Work closely with IT, Security, and AV engineering and TechComm to manage the models and develop documentation plans.
Provide resource planning and allocation information to internal teams and vendors.
Field survey sites and develop scope of work for vendor bids.
Identify concerns and offer solutions before they become critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Quality Control: Ensure all projects meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, milestones, and any issues.
Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Meeting with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
Delegating project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths.
Tracking project performance and analyzing successful completion.
This is an office-based position in San Diego, CA. Some travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of project management or related work experience.
OR Associate's degree and 5+ years of project management or related work experience.
OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of project management or related work experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project management or related work experience.
OR Associate's degree and 7+ years of project management or related work experience.
OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 9+ years of project management or related work experience.
Strong project management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in project management software, and a solid understanding of construction and facilities management principles.
Certifications: PMP, LEED, or similar certifications are a plus.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$120,800.00 - $181,200.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants.
