Description Position Summary LinQuest is seeking a Space Systems Specialist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. An active Secret Clearance is required. Key Responsibilities Provide launch service (LS) project management and systems engineering for Rocket Systems Launch Program (RSLP) procurement of orbital and suborbital launch services in support of the Space Systems Command (SSC). Support the development and coordination of contract requirements documents, action items lists, presentation materials and decision briefings. Assess and document project budget, cost accounting and schedules to meet customer objectives. Coordinate actions with multiple mission partners and customers from DoD agencies and commercial industry. Facilitate and support integrated product teams, program management reviews, design & readiness reviews, technical interchange meetings and working groups. Ensure proper application of National, DoD. USAF, USSF and SSC policies. Prepare compliance documentation and assist in deviation and waiver processes. Identify potential project cost/schedule/performance risks and impacts; recommend risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate reviews of design documents and monitoring of system tests to support requirements verification. Coordinate launch campaign activities to include site preparation and facility support requirements. Required Skills and Experience: 5 years experience providing project management, technical management or systems engineering support to Space Systems Command or DoD/NASA/Commercial equivalent experience. Ability to provide leadership & management of multi-functional missions in a rapidly changing environment with multiple deadlines & deliverables. Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to clearly articulate ideas and recommendations. Detail oriented and the ability to organize, prioritize, and address multi-program schedules simultaneously. Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills. Proficiency with MS Office suite specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Technical Management, Systems Engineering or equivalent area. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position Preferred Skills and Experience: Launch, Missile or Space Operational experience. Previous prior enlisted experience may be considered as substitute for education or experience requirement Proficiency in the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR), MS Project and/or Confluence/Jira Masters Degree in relevant education requirement. This includes MBAs with relevant technical experience.
