The Police Chief oversees an annual FY 2024/25 budget of $38.2 million supported by 159 employees, including 103 sworn staff.The ideal candidate will be a contemporary-minded professional leader with a reputation for creating and maintaining a supportive culture with high levels of trust and accountability. The Chief will be well-versed in current and potential uses of data and technology and dedicated to continuous improvement.Minimum Requirements:Eight (8) years of progressively responsible supervisory and management law enforcement experience.Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree and POST Management Certificate desirable).Completion of relevant and recognized leadership programs favorably considered.Mid-sized agency experience preferred.Salary:
