The Los Angeles office of Squire Patton Boggs, a global law firm, seeks an Executive Legal Secretary to provide legal and administrative support to litigation attorneys.

Primary responsibilities include:

Draft, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and e-mailPerform administrative tasks such as preparing expense reports, check requests and time entry, as requestedExercise independent judgment when prioritizing work assignmentsMaintain attorneys' calendar and schedule appointmentsCoordinate client meetingsCoordinate domestic and international travel arrangementsSuperior knowledge of e-filing and court procedures (state and federal)Perform other secretarial duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical schoolMinimum 3 years of legal secretarial experience, preferably in a law firmAbility to type, read and write in order to proofread and perform initial input and revisions to legal documents, correspondence, memoranda and emailAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to prioritize, manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and use good judgment in order to meet deadlinesSuperior knowledge of Windows and Microsoft office a must (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communicationsA self-starter that takes initiative and is a team playerAbility to work overtime, when needed

CA salary range $80,000 - $95,000.
