About the Role:
A Tulsa based Tribal Business Entity is seeking a strategic and hands-on VP of Operations to drive organizational growth and streamline business operations. This position will play a critical role in implementing an ERP system to centralize access to financial, operational, and contractual data, ensuring efficiency and scalability as the organization expands its diverse business portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in ERP integration, project management, and process optimization, along with the leadership skills to manage people and build an effective, compliance-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Identify, select, and implement an ERP system to centralize organizational information, improve reporting, and automate key processes. Introduce preferred efficiency frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
Operational Oversight:
Manage daily operations of the Tulsa office, overseeing HR, project management, and office administration. Ensure payroll, timekeeping, and expense reporting are compliant and timely.
Growth Management:
Oversee a diverse range of operations, including IT services, broadband, drone technology, ranching, and real estate property development. Drive infrastructure projects, such as new office facilities and data center developments, while supporting various grant and public/private initiatives.
Culture and People Management:
Lead a small, tight-knit team in a hybrid-flex environment, setting the tone for accountability and productivity. Act as a direct extension of the leadership team, collaborating on strategic goals and business tempo.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in ERP system identification, selection, and implementation.
Strong background in project management, financial analysis, and process improvement.
Ability to manage and lead teams in a small business environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and reporting requirements.
Experience in policy development and review, with an added bonus for those with a knack for managing dual responsibilities in operational and safety domains.
Knowledge of diverse industries such as IT, engineering, technology, and real estate property development is a plus.
Tribal membership is highly preferred.
