Our Sales team has a unique mission to help make government contractors aware of the deep impact that GovDash's platform can have on their ability to win government contracts.
GovDash (launched October 2023) is being rapidly adopted by companies across the country to redefine how their capture, proposal and contract teams go after opportunities. It assists government contractors with capture, proposal development, contract management & more-in one place. GovDash has scaled to 7-figures in ARR in just 12 months and is looking for a partner who is excited about
GovDash has scaled to 7-figures in ARR in just 12 months and is looking for a partner who is excited about helping the team continue to grow. You will be responsible for building out and leading the sales team, optimizing our sales playbook, and driving revenue growth. You'll play a hands-on role in selling to key accounts while mentoring and training Account Executives (AEs) to consistently close deals. Additionally, you'll set up processes to ensure hyper-efficiency across the team, refine our sales strategies using data (which is readily available in our space), and help establish our D.C. office!
In this role, you'll:
Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand how GovDash is differentiated from other companies in the the government contracting software space.Build and scale the GovDash sales team, hiring, training, and developing Account Executives (AEs) to hit aggressive growth targets.Own the full sales lifecycle-lead by example, selling to key accounts while training and mentoring AEs to close deals at scale.Develop and implement a scalable sales operations framework, including CRM workflows, reporting, and pipeline management - we have these today, but they can be optimized.Work directly with high-value prospects to close strategic deals while refining the sales process for efficiency and repeatability.Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success to align sales efforts with product development and customer feedback.Utilize data and insights to continually refine sales processes, improve conversion rates, and optimize rep performance.Establish and enforce a high-performance culture within the sales team, driving accountability and results.Lead the setup of GovDash's D.C. office and build out a strong presence in the area.You might thrive in this role if you have:
Deep knowledge of the government contracting process and experience selling to government contractors or government agencies.Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams.Strong understanding of sales operations, including CRM, pipeline management, and data-driven decision-making.Ability to optimize sales processes and operations, making the team more efficient and effective.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.Exceptional organizational skillsAbility to navigate ambiguity, prioritize ruthlessly, and deliver results in a demanding environment.Care about America and her interests.
