These values drive us to deliver the best our associates, our guests, and the communities we serve.Sales Manager OpportunityWe are currently seeking a motivated and engaging Sales Manager with proven experience in hotel or resort sales to join our team at the East Peoria Embassy Suites. This critical role is focused on driving room revenue, proactively soliciting new business, and maximizing revenue from existing corporate and preferred accounts. The Sales Manager will play a key part in up-selling opportunities, meeting personal and team revenue targets, and ensuring seamless service delivery for our guests.As a Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for building strong customer relationships and inspiring guest loyalty by consistently delivering service excellence. Professionalism, creativity, and a dedication to problem-solving are essential.Join Atrium Hospitality, where teamwork, passion, and appreciation ignite service excellence!Tasks and ResponsibilitiesSolicit, negotiate, and confirm new and repeat business through various efforts to maximize revenues tomeet/exceed individual revenue goals.Prepare and execute sales contracts, event orders, group resumes to ensure quality product delivery andcustomer satisfaction.Coordinate all function details with clients including but not limited to space requirements, meeting times,equipment, menus, billing, etc.Develop and complete monthly SMART plan documenting measurable goals and action plans to ensure access.Identify potential customers, accounts, and markets, develop new business, and cultivate existing relationshipsusing sales activities to achieve the assigned revenue goal.Navigate through the sales process including qualifying, negotiating, closing, and detailing group and/or cateringleads.Review, evaluate, and execute sales contracts with customers.Develop and maintain a file and trace system to ensure all sales call activity is defined, traced, and updated in anorganized manner.Complete any and all other work as required to accomplish the primary purpose of the position.What do we look for in someone to be successful in this role?1-2 years of experience in Event Services, Banquet, Hotel Sales, Marketing or equivalent education and experienceHigh School Diploma/equivalent, 2+ years of college, or 2+ years in a sales & marketing, front office, or other supervisory positionProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience with Delphi, FDC, and/or Marriott CI/TYExcellent written and oral communication skillsWhen you’re an Atrium Associate, you’re a part of a crucial workforce providing the ultimate ‘Home Away From Home’ for our guests.
