Job Purpose/Summary:
This position is responsible for leading, building, and implementing collaborative business solutions which are aligned with both the customer and business unit to achieve business results. This role serves as the customer expert and leads strategic initiatives with our Club Sales Team and BU partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops customer strategies and execution of key initiatives, score carding against aligned growth initiatives, and creation of customized selling stores for targeted customersPlanning lead for strategic customer meetings and responsibility to create, maintain, and execute best in class customer experiencesCommunicates timely and concise, effectively both internally and externallyLeads special projects, planning, and execution as assignedParticipates in the development of annual and long-term strategic channel plansDevelopment of 4Ps strategyLeads development of selling materials and sales training for innovation and base business initiativesRuns parallel to BU partners on RVAP initiatives, representing the voice of the customer in decision making and projectsEmbodies a "One Tyson" approach that benefits both Tyson and the customer
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years formal and or business application experience in any of the areas of sales, product management, brand marketing, category leadership, or business development. Sales or Poultry experience a plus.
Communication Skills:
Strong organization, negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication skills; creative and strategic thinker with customer-centric mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities; ability to influence other team members; comfortable working with and alongside leadership
Special Skills:
Proven experience working cross functionally; ability to work collaboratively with sales teams, external customers, and internal business unit teams to drive business results; strong focus on understanding and addressing consumer and customer needs
Supervisory: One direct report
