A highly regarded health care facility is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist for a full-time, permanent opportunity near Brinnon, Washington. Monday-Friday: 5:00 pm 8:00 am24-hour on-call rotation for Saturday and SundayWeekly call rotation; typically covers entire week if scheduled
Patient Volume:
Average of 8-11 cases per day, including a high volume of procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsiesTeam Composition:
Collaborate with 2 local IR physicians and an extensive support team; access to teleradiology servicesSetting:
Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000Role Requirements:Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (AOBR or ABR)
RequiredFellowship training in Interventional Radiology
RequiredWashington state license, or willingness to obtain it promptly
PreferredACLS certification or willingness to obtain
RequiredClean malpractice/license history
Highly PreferredMust be eligible to work in the U.S. (J1 or H1B visa candidates may apply)Clinical Responsibilities:Perform and oversee procedures including:
Angiography, CT and Ultrasound proceduresAngioplasty and Stent PlacementChemoembolization, EmbolizationAortic Aneurysm Endograft Stent, Needle BiopsyThrombolysis, Kyphoplasty
Primary patient demographics include adults, including both geriatric and adolescent populationsFacility utilizes EPIC as the EMR systemBenefits and Compensation:Competitive Salary
