SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking an
experienced
Scheduler II
in Solar with the ability to interact with various staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with high professionalism and confidentiality. The candidate will be able to train and communicate effectively with other team members. Preferred MN-based candidates but will consider remote applicants. If remote, they must have a minimum of two years' experience in Scheduling experience.
RESPONSIBILITIESSupport supervision through the preparation, monitoring, and updating of area schedules; and assisting site management in formulating action plans to correct scheduling problemsDraft and computerize schedule network diagrams, monitoring and eliminating potential problemsQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum two years of construction scheduling experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience (for Scheduler II position)Experience as a Project Engineer is preferredMust be proficient in P6Construction operations experience is strongly preferredThorough knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems, principles, and practicesProven ability, creativity, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems essentialAbility to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutionsResults-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashionExcellent oral and written communication skillsEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field
