Honeywell is hiring a Human Resources Manager to sit on-site at our Urbana, OH location. As a Human Resources Manager here at Honeywell, you will provide support to multiple business functions and business groups, ensuring effective HR strategies and practices are implemented. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into effective HR solutions that align with our organizational objectives.
You will report directly to our Director, Human Resources and you will work on-site (5-days a week) out of our Urbana, Ohio location.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization by driving employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and other HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives
Provide guidance and support on talent acquisition, including recruitment and selection processes
Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
Manage employee relations issues and provide coaching and counseling to employees and managers
Support performance management processes and provide guidance on performance improvement plans
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Collaborate with HR colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
5+ years of experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders
WE VALUE:
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR)
Experience supporting manufacturing environments
Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives and programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
