This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with the company's goals, driving cost efficiencies, and fostering strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a keen analytical mindset and the ability to negotiate effectively.Key Responsibilities:Sourcing Strategy Development:Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize costs, improve quality, and enhance supplier performance.Market Analysis:Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate market trends, and assess risks associated with sourcing decisions.Supplier Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering collaboration.Negotiation:Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions while ensuring compliance with company policies.Cost Analysis:Perform total cost of ownership analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, finance, and quality assurance) to understand their needs and incorporate them into sourcing strategies.Performance Monitoring:Track and report on supplier performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability.Risk Management:Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including developing contingency plans for potential disruptions.Reporting and Documentation:Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, savings achieved, and market conditions to senior management.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in construction.Skills:Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficient in data analysis and market research tools.Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Certifications:Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
