Description
Position : Director of MaintenanceNHC Healthcare Franklin is seeking a Director of Maintenance. The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance of the buildings, grounds, fixtures, and facility equipment. In addition, they ensure a continuous safe operation of the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Program and Safety Program. Areas of oversight may include Maintenance and Housekeeping departments. The qualified applicant for this position must have at least 2 years of experience in maintenance and various mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Healthcare experience preferred.Shift : M-F 8hr shifts. (On call during weekends and nights in case of emergency)Status : Full TimePay : Competitive Compensation!Responsibilities:Planning, directing and supervising maintenance program of the physical plant, institutional equipment, and vehicles.Maintaining records of work performed and costs involved.Advising and consulting with administrator on maintenance and repair needs concerning structure, equipment, and grounds.Ensure preventative maintenance is completed on all equipment.Ensure the facility is in a sanitary, attractive, safe, orderly condition, and in compliance with all regulatory standards.Ensure proper operations and maintenance of water supplies, emergency electrical systems, sewage systems, primary electrical systems, telephone systems, fire alarm systems, heating, and cooling systems.Develop facility maintenance plans, timetables for completion, and recommendations for maintenance projects.Respond to facility fire and disaster situations immediately and assist per emergency plans.Coordinate outside service vendors/contractors and maintenance staff to complete projects as assigned/necessary.Tactfully and effectively deal with patients and families.Requirements:At least 2 years of experience in maintenance and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.Must have knowledge of local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations.NHC Healthcare Franklin offers a competitive compensation package for full-time employment including health, dental vision, life, disability insurance uniforms, paid time off, 401(k) with generous company match, stock options, and more.The NHC environment is one of encouragement and challenge…innovation and improvement…teamwork and collaboration…and honesty and integrity.
