To provide our customers with high quality, efficient, and reliable water, power, and wastewater services in a manner that values environmental and community interests and sustains the resources entrusted to our care.As the People Analytics & Governance Manager, you will:Under the direction of the HRS People Strategy & Experience Co-Deputy, you will direct the strategy and ensure the appropriate and effective data governance of workforce analytics, engagement, competency, performance management, and diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging (DEIB). The People Analytics & Governance Manager collaborates with the HR Technology team, HRS leadership, and ITS to determine how to develop the necessary systems and dashboards to meet client needs.We are looking for individuals who:Are experienced with behavioral research concepts/principles, workforce analytics, and data-driven decision-makingThink strategically and adeptly build relationships and support to achieve organizational goalsCultivate a culture of innovation, inclusiveness, and high-performanceEssential Functions:Direct and conduct difficult, sensitive, highly visible, and complex analytical work to further advance the SFPUC’s initiatives, objectives, and strategies.Leverage new and existing technologies including people analytics dashboards and visualizations to inform business and talent decisions.Serves as a subject matter expert and directs the framework for tracking, reporting, and communicating workforce analytics.Develops and analyzes performance outcome measures to evaluate progress and effectiveness of existing and new programs.Collaborate with Human Resource Services (HRS), Information Technology Services (ITS), and other managers to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded in people analytics.Prepares and/or directs the preparation of reports for senior management outlining findings and presenting recommendations.Directs the strategy for people data assets and the successful implementation of data requests.Develops and establishes firm data governance standards for new and existing data elements.Implements, monitors, and reports on web-based dashboards to provide regular updates to management.Establishes performance measures for SFPUC talent management programs and initiatives.Participates in budget development by providing detailed justification, including data-driven insights.The People Analytics & Governance Manager performs other related duties as required.How to qualify
Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, and five (5) years full-time equivalent experience performing professional-level analytical work.Substitution:Possession of a graduate degree (Master's degree or higher) from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of required experience.Desirable Qualifications:Master’s degree or higher in a related fieldRecent experience in workforce analyticsApplicants must meet the minimum qualification requirement by the final filing date unless otherwise noted.What else should I know?
