Plan and organize the day-to-day operations of health occupations programming, including course scheduling, instructor coordination, and student support. Manage relationships with clinical agencies, high schools, and community partners to ensure operational success. Assist the Director in ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements by maintaining up-to-date program documentation. Provide direct supervision and support to coordinators and act as a liaison between students, instructors, and college departments to ensure the smooth running of programs. Assist in the preparation of program budgets and fill in for the director at appropriate meetings and events. Lead specific program initiatives or projects as assigned by the Director.Duties:Oversees the daily operations and project management activities of the Health Occupations programs, ensuring effective coordination, implementation, and achievement of program goals.Provides leadership and guidance to instructional staff, offering support and supervision to ensure effective teaching practices.Serves as an active faculty member, delivering instruction in the CNA program at various locations and times.Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, maintaining all necessary requirements.Cultivates and maintains strong communication and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.Supports the Director of Health Occupations by contributing to the development of new programs, identifying opportunities, and proposing program revisions.Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements):Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing;Must have at least one year of full-time or equivalent experience in a supervisory or project management role;Must have a minimum of two years of full-time or equivalent direct patient care as a registered nurse;Must have at least one year of full-time or equivalent experience coordinating instructional or training programs;Must have a minimum of one year of full-time or equivalent experience working in long-term care or an acute care setting;Must have an unrestricted RN License to practice in NC;Must have current CPR certification.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Nursing.Experience coordinating training programs at a community college or a work-based training program.Experience using a college information database, such as Colleague.Experience teaching adults.Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.Special Instructions to Applicants:Applicant Should:1. Your total compensation goes beyond this maximum salary. Your A-B Tech benefits represent nearly 30% of your total compensation. The total compensation for this position includes a 24.04% employer contribution to a defined pension plan, contributions towards medical and dental policies and fully funded life insurance / accidental death & dismemberment policy.
