Software Automation Engineer II
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with developers, product owner, and other QE team members to write test cases and associated automation tests for UI, API, and performance testing.
Participate in code reviews and design discussions to understand workflow and build test cases accordingly.
Continually stay up to date with industry changes and bring new concepts to your team.
Communicate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders concerning the team’s work.
Exhibit high personal commitment to quality, implementing Development best practices.
Work with Quality Engineering and Support staff to resolve problems with released software.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3+ years of experience in software testing, API Experience with BDD, the Gherkin language & supporting tools (Spec Flow, Cucumber…).
2+ Years Object Oriented Programming experience C#.
3+ Year(s) JavaScript/TypeScript with Playwright Test Framework.
2+ years of experience using Performance Testing tools like JMeter or K6.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Experience with agile concepts, especially Scrum.
Working experience with test management tools PractiTest.
Experience of using Jira and Confluence.
CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Web services integration REST & SOAP in .NET.
Experience using any public cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Experience with designing systems in consideration of NFRs: performance, responsiveness, concurrency, availability, supportability…
Good experience with TDD, BDD, or xUnit test patterns.
