For nearly 140 years, we have been the global leader in consumer transaction technologies, turning everyday consumer interactions into meaningful moments.SW Quality Engineer II (Automation)You have:BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.3+ years of experience designing, documenting, and executing test plans using test case management software.3+ years of experience executing manual UI validation test cases.Recent experience with advanced test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.Recent experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.Proficiency with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.Experience working with software that interacts directly with hardware components like payment terminals, scanners, scales and printers.Experience testing software at the API level.Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.Even better if you have:Familiarity with testing products with event-driven architecture.Experience with Kubernetes.Exposure to microservices architecture and related testing strategies.Experience in retail checkout software, fintech, or payments industry.You can expect to:Design, execute, maintain, and report on automated and manual test cases for projects focused exclusively on delivering a solution for Self Checkout software using Practitest, Jira, Cypress, and Javascript.Troubleshoot problems with the automated tests running in a CI/CD pipeline on GitHub Actions.Set up and manage both physical and cloud-based virtual test environments in GCP.Promote quality assurance best practices.Proactively identify, address, and communicate risks to ensure robust product development.Collaborate with Agile teams, championing user stories and validating them through comprehensive automated testing.Collaborate effectively with contributors across different timezones.Deliver compelling product demonstrations for internal stakeholders, showcasing functionality and usability.Foster effective collaboration with both local and remote team members.Promote and nurture a shift-left testing and quality assurance mindset within the organization.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.EEO StatementIntegrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix’s commitment to diversity and equal employment opportunity.
