Seek, develop, and capture growth opportunities in the region.Support the development and implementation of a sustainable growth strategy for the refinery and petrochemicals market segment in North America.Ensure effective account management and customer relations in the sales region, including developing account plans and leading key or strategic account teams.Develop a personal network within the refinery and petrochemicals market segment and represent Evonik Catalysts at relevant events.Develop strong working knowledge of Catalyst products, capabilities, and services to satisfy customer needs.Collaborate internally across multiple functions as the customer champion to build strong external customer relationships.Manage an accurate sales forecast and meet overdue metrics, utilizing CRM tools for documentation.REQUIREMENTSUniversity degree in a technical field (i.e., chemistry, chemical engineering). MBA is a plus.5-10 years of experience in sales of highly technical products and services (ideally catalysts) in a multinational environment.Established track record of success in sales, demonstrating ability for generating and maintaining solution-based sales approaches.Demonstrated ability to network within target customer organizations, up to senior management.Work independently while providing guidance and training to others on sales tactics and planning.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, or as needed.The Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.
