RetirementJob DetailsYou will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in financial management, and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct budget vs. actual comparisons and provide comprehensive reports to executives. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Provide strategic financial insights to senior management for informed decision-making.Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads and executive team members to develop and manage annual budgets. Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and forecast future financial performance.Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management, including daily cash balance monitoring and future cash needs forecasting. Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and liquidity. Maintain relationships with financial institutions and manage banking activities.Financial Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures. Streamline processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations. Accurately prepare and file tax returns in a timely manner. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the company.Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor insurance coverage and assess the adequacy of risk management practices. Implement procedures to protect the company against fraud and unauthorized activities.ERP and System Updates: Oversee the use and maintenance of the Infor Visual ERP system to ensure optimal performance and integration with financial operations. Lead the annual external audit process, coordinating with auditors and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of audit requirements. Coordinate the updating and upgrading of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and compliance.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred. Proven experience in a financial management role, preferably as an Accounting Manager. Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with Infor Visual ERP or other manufacturing ERP is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
