Beneva Group has recently been retained by a high-growth manufacturing company to find their
Director of Supply Chain.
This person will be tasked with designing and implementing a new supply chain organization/structure to renovate or replace inefficient and costly current-state processes.Position Overview:This position, reporting to the SVP of Operations, will lead the North America Supply Chain. The role is instrumental in leading and delivering a supply and demand team that delivers best-in-class customer service levels while driving strong, cost-effective production and inventory management processes. The role requires a keen interest in planning operations, forecasting demand, manufacturing processes, supply chain optimization, team building, and collaboration across the company and with external supply chain partners.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Create and deliver continuous improvement roadmap to optimize storage, transportation function, planning, and purchasing experience.Design and implement methods to gather and manage logistics & supply chain data from both internal and external resources.Develop and establish key supply chain KPI in areas of inbound logistics & warehousing to improve supply chain processes.Manage all 3PL warehouse partners, including establishing KPI standards.Partner with business teams on matters of inventory, freight, storage projections, negotiations, and contracts to support efficiency and costs.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in business or related fieldLean / Six Sigma certification8+ years of Materials, Distribution, and Logistics Management leadership experience in manufacturing and warehousing facilities.Experience successfully designing and implementing a Lean supply chain organization/structureProven track record of improving departmental KPI's/deliverables and inventory improvement through Kanban systems, VMI, and PFEPExperience using mainstream ERP/MRP/WMS systemsPrior multi-site supply chain management experienceDeep functional expertise in key areas including distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation, warehouse sourcing, 3PL operating experience, and production and inventory planningExcellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysisProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VisioLocation:
