DescriptionWhat You'll Do:As the
Senior Test Engineer , you will join our highly talented team of professionals supporting NAVAIR's Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-262). Specific responsibilities may include:Developing test plans, procedures, and reports for Triton System Integration efforts.Supporting hardware in the loop testing in the Triton Mission Data Lab (MDL) and the Triton System Integration Lab (TSIL).Providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on the Triton software suite.Applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.Analyzing status, budgeting, and schedules.Decomposing new capabilities and requirements into Test Cases and Test plans to properly test all integrated capabilities.Performing management, technical, or business case analyses.Collecting, organizing, and interpreting data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.Tracking program/project status and schedules.Applying government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.Managing lab status and providing ready for test (RFT) analysis of the MDL and TSIL.Additional responsibilities may be required as needed by the program office.Some travel (up to 10%) will be required.The job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. It is intended to describe the general nature of the position.RequirementsEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor of Science in a STEM area of study is required. If no degree is held, candidate must have at least 15 years of related experience.At least 10 years of experience performing the above responsibilities is required.Previous VP/VPU/VQ/VUP/RQ/RJ/CT experience is required.Preferred Experience:MQ-4C Triton TACCO or Mission Payload Operator Tester.Previous NAVAIR test experience.Who You Are:You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision.You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Your organizational skills allow you to manage competing priorities.Security Clearance Requirements:This position will require an active Secret clearance. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph.Salary Range:The
estimated
