Benefits ManagerXcelerate Solutions is seeking a Benefits Manager. The Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing and administering the company's benefits programs, which may include retirement plans, health insurance, disability insurance, and other employee benefits. This role involves both strategic planning and day-to-day operations in managing these programs to ensure they are competitive, sustainable, and compliant with legal requirements. This role is pivotal in attracting and retaining talent by developing fair and competitive compensation structures that are compliant with legal standards. Oversee the administration of benefits programs, including enrollment, renewal, and termination processes. Work with human resources information systems to ensure accurate benefits data.Negotiate with service providers and vendors to secure health, welfare, and retirement plans. Ensure that vendors meet the expectations in terms of cost, service, and reliability.Develop and implement benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while considering cost-effectiveness and compliance with federal and state laws.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all benefit programs are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Prepare and file required legal documents, such as IRS filings, ERISA documents, and other government-required reports.Utilize HRIS systems for compensation analysis and reporting. Prepare reports for senior management regarding compensation plans and their effectiveness.
Employee Liaison:
Act as the point of contact for employee benefits inquiries. Resolve any issues related to the benefits programs.Conduct educational workshops and seminars to help employees understand their benefits.
Budget Management:
Manage the budget for benefits, forecasting costs, and monitoring spending. Work closely with the finance department to report on financial implications of current and proposed plans.Work with the finance department to budget for salary increases and manage the compensation budget.
Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and industry standards.Create and maintain salary structures, including pay grades and ranges that are competitive with the market.
Performance-Based Pay Programs:
Design and manage incentive and bonus programs linked to performance metrics.
Market Analysis:
Conduct regular market analyses to ensure compensation packages remain competitive. Adjust compensation plans as necessary based on the organization's needs and market trends.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.5-10 years' experience in benefits administration, working with Brokers & Carriers preferably in a government contracting environment.Strong understanding of benefit plan compliance requirements including ACA, ERISA, and other relevant laws.Extensive experience in compensation analysis, design, and administration.Strong understanding of compensation laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Strong understanding using UKG and ADP HRIS applications with the ability to manipulate and also configure.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.About Xcelerate Solutions:Founded in 2009 and headquartered in McLean, VA, Xcelerate Solutions (www.xceleratesolutions.com) is one of America's fastest-growing companies.
