Senior Consultants
who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings; and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects.ResponsibilitiesConsult directly with our clients and provide advisory services designed to help them solve their most complex business and technology challengesManage and direct a small-to-medium team of developers through client engagement, analysis, business case development, and the development of focused and contextual solutionsLead communications with project stakeholders, including status reporting, priority setting, and timely issue resolutionContribute to the thought leadership of your practice and contribute to one or more practice initiatives or service offeringsMaintain expertise in your industry or capability groupEncourage and facilitate the business development activities of project teamsEngage with client contacts to generate leads and identify new opportunities for consulting servicesRecognize, capture, store, and promote the sharing of engagement collateral and IPSupport the implementation of one or more practice initiatives or service offeringsServe as a people leader within Consulting, supporting professional development of the teamQualificationsMust Have SkillsExperience working in
SOX Compliance and SOX management functionsStrong Agile Product Owner experienceHands-on expertise in Agile tools (JIRA and Confluence)Leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach and mentor other team membersAble to develop and deliver all or subsets of the artifacts (i.e., user stories, test scenarios) for group and other teamsExpert in product management techniques such as user story mappingAbility to work with large cross-functional teams in an onsite-offshore mode of deliveryDesired Skills (Nice to have)Automotive Industry ExperiencePresales experience/interestTechnical knowledge (cloud implementations/data analytics)Work AuthorizationCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
