We relentlessly pursue medicines to ease the burden of debilitating diseases and disorders.About the Role:Responsible for designing customer engagement planning and execution and building connections with thought leaders and key healthcare professionals, while ensuring compliance with guidelines on medical and commercial collaboration. Serves as an ambassador for the corporate and marketing brand teams, leading regional educational initiatives, and supporting national product theater initiatives. Identifies, recruits, and develops healthcare professionals for the speakers bureaus, as well as managing key projects and collaborating with various cross-functional teams.Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Identify, recruit, and coach healthcare professionals for the National speakers bureau, providing coaching feedback and overseeing regional product theater congress initiatives.Ensure cross-functional alignment at national and regional congresses, fostering innovation in marketing approaches and practices, and supporting National Congress brand product theaters.Manage regional marketing expenses and develop regional business plans for portfolio products in collaboration with key internal partners.Collaborate with brand teams to execute regional marketing initiatives and create approved marketing resources for field teams.Manage peer-to-peer activities, support training, logistics, and program feedback for thought leader speakers, as well as identification and recruitment of potential advisors.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute programs with regional patient and professional advocacy and lead presence and activities at regional conventions.Identify regional market insights, work with field training team to ensure consistent implementation of marketing strategy.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field and 6+ years work experience in one or more of the following: field sales, marketing, or clinical experience in the same or related therapeutic area OR MBA or equivalent preferred 4+ years of similar experience noted above and Pharmaceutical Sales, Marketing and/or Account Management experience required.Effectively demonstrates project and vendor management skills.Good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks for promotion, pharma industry guidelines and compliance issues.General knowledge of marketing principles appropriate to pharmaceutical or biologic therapeutics.Strong understanding of data analytics, forecasting and market research techniques with ability to interpret market insights to help guide strategic decision-making.Ability to work with cross-functional leadership and to partner with colleagues across the business and scientific areas of the organization.Knowledge of biotechnology or pharmaceutical market principles across multiple geographic regions.Has knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts of related business disciplines.Works to improve tools and processes within functional area.Developing reputation inside the company as it relates to area of expertise.Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams.Excellent computer skills (especially PowerPoint).Sees broader picture, impact on multiple departments/divisions.Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong leadership, accountability, interpersonal and organizational skills.Entrepreneurial attitude.Ability to travel 50% or more including evenings and weekends.Neurocrine Biosciences is an EEO/AA/Disability/Vets employer. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
