Data Center Storage Engineer
to provide Storage Engineering services. Responsibilities include:Perform storage engineering design for periodic data center, storage, and remote site server hardware refreshes.Recommend hardware solutions compatible with existing Storage technologies.Document data center physical hardware designs including row, rack, bay, interconnections, power, network, storage, serial numbers, lifecycle, and supporting service information.Create and document requisite storage configuration settings.Design and engineer a long-term storage solution to meet records management requirements.Deliver service catalog items for automatically provisioning storage to deliver Infrastructure-as-Code.Qualifications:Required:BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS can be considered.TS/SCI clearance is required.Experience in Storage engineering and integration for both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting.Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE).Desired:Professional-level Storage certification desired.ITIL Foundations certification desired.Benefits:Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and participation in an attractive bonus plan.Peraton Overview:Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
