to be a key member of our dedicated security team, responsible for safeguarding our critical infrastructure and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our services. Reporting directly to the Director, Cyber Security Engineering, the
Cybersecurity Data Management Engineer
will contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our cybersecurity strategies and practices.Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of Log Collection & Analysis solutions to meet security use cases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and administer effective cybersecurity solutions that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Assist with efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks across the organization's digital ecosystem, including network, applications, and data assets.Evaluate emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and provide insights to enhance our proactive security posture.Manage the design and implementation of security controls to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.Guide incident response activities, ensuring timely detection, containment, and recovery from security incidents or breaches.Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to assess and improve the security posture of shared systems and services.Contribute to the development of security policies, procedures, and guidelines, and assist in ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field OR equivalent experience.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent, strongly preferred.Minimum of five (5) years experience in cybersecurity engineering, including hands-on experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, SIEM tools, endpoint protection, or vulnerability management.Experience with Cribl, Sumo Logic or other SIEM log collection platforms.Proven track record of supporting security initiatives and projects, demonstrating an understanding of cybersecurity principles.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK) and their practical application.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently.Base Salary Range:
