Lead Specialist, Sales Audit
to join our Sales Audit team. This individual will participate as lead role of the Sales Audit Team providing daily customer service, team support, store support, daily reconciliation, month end close, special projects, and related duties, as necessary.What You’ll Do | Key AccountabilitiesDaily Reconciliation of all tender types and sales for retail stores and e-commerce utilizing multiple software applications.Research, review, and resolve store questions and exceptions in an efficient and timely manner.Provide excellent customer service to stores and customers and maintain professional vendor relationships.Supports monthly financial close process and prepares journal entries along with required back-up for credit card fees, chargebacks, over/short, bank fees, etc.Perform balance sheet reconciliations (cash, credit card, etc.) to ensure accuracy of balance sheet and reduce the risk of financial misstatement or financial exposure.Assist with managing the sales audit support group e-mailbox.Troubleshoot issue resolution with various contacts, both internal (store leadership, corporate contacts) and external (banks, credit card companies).Create reporting and provide analytical data to business partners (credit card in transit, tender type analysis, etc.).Identify areas of opportunity/weakness and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency in a controlled environment.Maintain financial and operational controls and procedures and comply with ethical and legal standards.Provide support to Sales Audit team as needed.Additional duties as assigned.What You’ll Bring | Skills & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent required.6+ years of customer experience strongly preferred.Reconciliation and clerical accounting experience a plus.Strong mathematical knowledge and reasoning skills.Ability to meet rigorous deadlines and work effectively with others.Demonstrated ability to gather and communicate data logically, accurately, and concisely.Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel skills.Aptitude and willingness to learn new software applications.Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to pay strict attention to detail, with a commitment to delivery of quality and accurate work products.Versatile, dependable, flexible team player.Demonstrated ability to consistently display a positive attitude, and willingness to work effectively and efficiently within an environment where priorities constantly change.Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with ease and take ownership of assigned tasks or projects.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered.
