Job SummaryAvera Granite Falls Ambulance is a full time ALS system, providing emergency response and critical care transport to our community and the surrounding area with industry leading late model equipment. As a Paramedic on our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical care in prehospital and interfacility environments. We provide an opportunity for clinical growth and career advancement within the Avera system in the prehospital and hospital team settings.You will provide care under clinical guidelines that allow for critical thinking and will have access to a comprehensive pharmaceutical library.You will have access to the latest in clinical equipment and resources available in the EMS industry.You will collaborate care of patients as part of the hospital's rapid response team while providing safe and effective transportation to ensure clinical care goals are met.Our Nationally Registered Paramedic (EMT-P) Team operates within their licensure from the state of Minnesota as well meet the educational requirements of the National Registry of EMTs.You will follow low standing orders and standard operating procedures established by the medical director and perform duties and functions assigned by the ambulance director.You will demonstrate care for every patient while striving to provide the highest quality of care.
Work SchedulePRN - as neededRotating 12 hour shifts: 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6amAttend monthly meetingsTake call six times/month which includes one weekend
Education and/or Experience18 years old with at least 1 year of driving experience.
Licensure/Certification/RegistrationInitial National Registry EMT-P certification.ACLS, PALS, NRP and CALS certification within one year of hire.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.$20.00 - $28.75 per hour
