Work Schedule:
This is a 1.0 FTE working Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p (7a-5:30p if 10-hour day). Currently no weekends or holidays. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a
Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to:Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of oncology patients with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems.Oversee treatment infusions and supportive care needs.Manage independent inpatient clinical practice and coverage for collaborating physicians as part of the inpatient oncology consult team.Perform initial consult history and physical, develop, manage and modify treatment plans of patients with acute health problems.Participate in daily rounding and collaborate with attending or consulting team in order to adjust plans of care.

Education:If Nurse Practitioner:
Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Work Experience:
Preferred - Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience.
Licenses and Certifications:Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice ANDActive board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Pediatric Acute Care and RN First Assist
If Physician Assistant*:Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice ANDActive PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
