Job Description:Must be interested in covering both inpatient and outpatient servicesRequired procedures:- Fetal monitoring- Low Risk Pregnancy--History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis- FHR Interpretation-NST/CST/FSE- OB ultrasounds-Performance of and Interpretation- Routine Delivery-Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section- Complicated Delivery-C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations- Office/Minor Gynecology-IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP; Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor-Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chromal Tubation- Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic)-Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAsState of the art birthing center featuring:
16 LDRP roomsLevel II NurseryDedicated surgical suite
Outpatient office is on campus, a short walk from LDRP, with exdperienced staffRotating call 1:4Partnership with local FQHC for safety net care to women in the communityMedically underserved communityTotal Number of Beds: 15Number of Exam Rooms: 2 plus procedure roomOnsite Lab? NoOnsite Ultrasound? YesAverage Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: per physician's comfortNumber of Physicians in Practice: goal of 3How Many APPs Provide Coverage: future state will be 2, have one nowSupport Staff: seasoned RNs and support staff in both clinic and hospitalWhat Percentage of Practice is Low-Risk Pregnancy: 40-50%What Percentage of Practice is High-Risk Pregnancy: 50-60%What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 30%What Percentage of Practice is GYN: up to the physicianAverage Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day: up to the physicianAverage Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 0-3Nursery Level - Trauma IIDocumentation System/EMR: Cerner, will convert to Epic in 2025Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 daysCan support J1 & H1B visa candidatesNot accepting Locums candidates
