Office Administrator with Accounting Experience

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator with accounting experience to join our dynamic team. This position will provide essential administrative support while also handling a variety of accounting-related tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Support:
· Process invoices, payments, and purchase orders in financial systems in a timely manner.
· Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial reports
· Follow up on outstanding payments
· Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
· Handle payroll timekeeping and processing
Administrative Support:
· Assist in onboarding new employees including initial paperwork and system setup
· Collect, organize, and distribute incoming mail (e.g.-Invoices, checks, notices)
· Provide back up support to office staff working with customer orders, shipping, and related tasks
· Assist with maintenance and improving company policies and procedures
Qualifications
Education
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred.
Experience
· Proven administrative experience with a focus on accounting or finance.
· Proficiency in Sage accounting software is preferred.
· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations).
· Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential
Skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
