As part of this dynamic team, the Associate will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and co-advisors, contributing to high-quality legal solutions that meet client needs.Duties:Draft and review a variety of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.Provide comprehensive domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning advice, with a focus on sophisticated strategies tailored to individual client circumstances.Assist with international estate tax planning, when applicable, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Build and maintain productive relationships with clients and co-advisors, facilitating collaboration on complex matters.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advice.Collaborate with senior attorneys on projects, gaining insights and mentorship to enhance professional development.Participate in client meetings, presenting findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.Requirements:1-3 years of relevant experience in estate planning and tax law.Proven experience in drafting both standard and complex estate planning documents.Solid understanding of domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning; international experience is a plus.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client matters simultaneously.Exceptional writing, speaking, and analytical abilities, with a focus on delivering clear and concise legal advice.Strong academic background, with an LLM, considered a plus.Must be eligible for bar admission in Illinois.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Must be eligible to be barred in Illinois.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.High level of professionalism and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.Job Location:Chicago, IL
