Lateral Antitrust Associate AttorneyJob Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Palo Alto, CA, is currently looking to add a talented Lateral Antitrust Associate Attorney to its Antitrust and Competition team. This position involves handling complex matters related to civil litigation, DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations, and criminal enforcement issues. The ideal candidate will have significant experience and substantive knowledge in antitrust law, along with a strong ability to provide top-tier legal representation in a highly competitive environment.Duties:Represent clients in civil antitrust litigation, investigations, and enforcement matters.Provide counsel on DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations and criminal enforcement.Collaborate with enforcement agencies to develop case strategies.Draft and prepare legal documents, motions, briefs, and filings related to antitrust cases.Analyze and interpret complex legal issues involving antitrust laws and regulations.Advise clients on antitrust compliance and strategies.Handle a variety of civil and criminal enforcement matters for clients across different industries.Requirements:2-6 years of relevant experience in antitrust law (preferably from law school class years 2018 to 2022).Strong familiarity with civil litigation, DOJ/FTC investigations, and criminal enforcement matters.Experience interacting with enforcement agencies is highly desirable.Excellent writing and analytical skills.High level of attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.Demonstrated ability to work on complex cases in a fast-paced legal environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic performance.Certifications:An active member in good standing with the State Bar of California or eligibility to waive into the Bar.Skills:Substantive knowledge of antitrust laws and competition policies.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent research and legal analysis capabilities.Ability to handle multiple complex matters simultaneously.Effective collaboration and teamwork with legal teams and enforcement agencies.Job Location:Comprehensive health care coverage.Retirement benefits with contribution matching.Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave.Basic life insurance coverage.Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for health care and dependent care expenses.Performance-based bonuses.Company infoAs a member of the Executive Team, and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief People Officer (CPO)is directly responsible for the oversight of Human Resources, Workforce and Organizational Strategies, Marketing and ...\u003cp\u003eOUR VISION: THE WORLD.
