Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a highly qualified Lateral Associate to join its Antitrust and Competition team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of experience handling civil litigation, DOJ/FTC civil conduct investigations, and criminal enforcement matters. This role requires strong substantive knowledge of antitrust law and offers a great opportunity for individuals with prior experience working with enforcement agencies or government service at DOJ/FTC.Location:Duties:Represent clients in civil litigation related to antitrust and competition matters.Handle DOJ and FTC civil conduct investigations and criminal enforcement actions.Conduct legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop case strategies.Engage with enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies as required.Provide advice on antitrust compliance and risk management.Requirements:2 to 6 years of experience in antitrust law, including civil litigation and regulatory investigations.Substantive knowledge of antitrust law is essential.Experience working with DOJ/FTC or prior government service in these agencies is highly preferred.Strong writing and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced legal environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials are required.Certifications:Admission to the bar in California, or eligibility for admission.Skills:Expertise in antitrust law, including litigation and regulatory enforcement.Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.Ability to manage complex cases and work independently.Proficiency in collaborating with enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies.Paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.Parental leave.Basic life insurance.Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).Discretionary, performance-based bonuses.Company infoCorporate Real Estate AttorneyLos AngelesSeeking a Corporate Real Estate Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience.
