The Director, Business Technology - Core Financials Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing scalable and sustainable architecture, organizational strategy, and solution designs and serve as a thought leader for ERP platform in the Finance domain including Order to Cash, Record-to-Report, and Procure-to-Pay business functions.
As a Director, you will be responsible for the overall design and maintenance of our ERP platform, including data architecture, feature roadmap, and integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the efforts to deliver solutions based on a deep understanding of business requirements.
You will lead a dynamic and geographically distributed team responsible for constantly evolving the systems and processes that support our Finance and Accounting functions. You’ll work closely with business leaders, partners, and our Business Technology teams to prioritize, then align resource plans and schedules.
What you’ll be doing
Partner with senior business leaders on their strategic roadmap, understand their operational issues and opportunities(business processes) and create technical solutions to grow business operations and ensure compliance.
Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring products meet needs and remain competitive
Identify and recommend creative solutions to improve business operations, business engagement and project delivery.
Oversee the portfolio of projects, and lead projects to achieve desired goals and benefits in consideration of planned timelines and budgets.
Analyze current state needs and challenges, identify improvement and automation opportunities, portfolio planning and tool rationalization.
Liaise and resolve audit queries with Internal and External auditors on SOX controls
Develop a collaborative organization and culture highly focused on providing efficient and timely solutions to key business challenges in multiple, sometimes overlapping, functional areas
Hire, develop and retain a highly flexible and culturally diversified team which constantly engages with the business to ensure IT is focused on the right priorities and meeting business goals
Have the ability to understand, translate business needs and drive out-of-box adoption to industry standard/best-in-class platforms
Represent Finance processes in technology assessments, solution design, and implementations.
Work with business partners on prioritization and proactively anticipate gaps and overlaps within the Finance portfolio.
Serve as a delivery lead for the projects and provide best practices and strategic platform direction.
Establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills
Stay abreast of technology trends and industry best practices and influence others to seek best-in-class solutions/technology to resolve business challenges.
What you’ll bring to the role
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration or in a related field
Excellent communication, problem solving/analytical and interpersonal skills
15+ years of experience in architecting and designing solutions using ERPs such as Netsuite/Oracle/SAP S/4 HANA in a high speed, global technology organization
8+ years in a leadership position within an IT organization of which 2+ years as a Director, with demonstrated experience driving change and improving operations
Have multiple ERP(S/4 HANA or Oracle or Netsuite) full cycle implementation experiences; Have led multiple Finance transformation initiatives.
Deep understanding of the ERP Finance business process areas – Order to Cash, Record to Report, Source to Pay, Revenue Recognition, and Subscription Billing
Experience partnering and communicating with teams and partners in diverse roles at all levels.
Experience training and developing teams and being an effective coach
Experience managing vendor relationships and ability to partner with them to conduct business and technical discovery
Experience working and presenting proposals to executives in a clear and compelling way
Experience working with Agile development methodologies
Experience with developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of initiatives, focusing on tangible and measurable outcomes

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. The Director, Business Technology - Core Financials Opportunity
