The Firm:
A well-established firm is seeking a highly motivated Attorney to join their team and handle a flourishing caseload. This is an exceptional opportunity for an Attorney with experience in civil litigation with emphasis in
Labor & Employment Law.
Responsibilities:
Advising and representing clients in employment-related commercial litigation and employment law advice and litigation (e.g. drug and alcohol issues in the workplace, EEO compliance, employee disciplinary matters, retaliation claims, sexual and other forms of unlawful harassment, whistleblowing claims, wrongful termination claims).

Strong legal research, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
Conduct client consultations, provide legal advice, and maintain effective communication with clients throughout the case.
Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, documentation, and billing records.
Requirements:
5 years of practice.
2 years minimum of practicing Labor & Employment Law.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Ohio – Kentucky and/or Indiana is a plus. (Firm willing to pay for additional Licensing if needed).
Litigation experience.
Book of business REQUIRED.
Minimum of 1500 billable hours.
Ability to handle high stress situations effectively.
Must be able to handle cases from inception to conclusion.
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
No micromanagement. Attorneys are expected to run their portfolios like their own business.
Benefits:
Bonuses: Quarterly based off billing.
Medical, dental, vision - firm pays about 80% of program (medical only).
401K: Match up to 4% on 5% contribution. (multiple plan options).
Full pay short term and long term – FMLA eligibility.
Life Insurance.
Mileage reimbursement for Client meetings.
Annual $1000 contribution for marketing.
Potential for growth - equity partnership options, opportunities to work with other departments or groups to expand practice areas.
