Review and analyze medical records, mechanisms of injury, and related medical issues.Identify and work with experts relevant to the case.Conduct comprehensive file reviews, investigations, and communications with corporate clients.Draft and respond to discovery, take depositions, and prepare for trials.Draft reports for carriers/clients, pleadings, and dispositive motions.Prepare cases for settlement or trial and attend court hearings as needed.Travel as required to support case proceedings.Knowledge of public entity law is advantageous.Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general liability and personal injury defense.Familiarity with medical records, injury mechanisms, and related assessments.Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and motivation.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Licensed to practice law in California.Skills
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents, reports, and discovery responses.Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and legal professionals.Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases.Self-driven, curious, and diligent in case preparation.Benefits
