Human Resources Specialist/Generalist - Position and Responsibilities As an HR Generalist with Middough, you will coordinate and collaborate on talent acquisition and human resource administration efforts across multiple office locations in collaboration with and reporting into the Company's corporate Human Resources team. The HR Generalist is responsible for full cycle recruiting, building a talent network, employee onboarding/offboarding, HR administration, basic employee relations, various human resources assignments, and employee HR support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Source and attract candidates using multiple social media platforms, third party recruiting platforms, and other best practices to build a robust candidate talent pool. Conduct and manage candidate interviews, interview schedules, candidate evaluations and debrief sessions. Collaborate with the HR team on the annual career fair and internship programs; this includes scheduling, managing, and attending regional career fairs and interviews. Maintain candidate tracking via the company recruiting tracker and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in collaboration with the recruiting team. Collaborate with the team on the implementation of recruiting best practices, trends, speed to hire initiatives, and technologies. Prepare and deliver high quality and timely candidate employment offers. Prepare and manage required HR employee/candidate forms/documents based on Company practices/policies and applicable federal and state regulations. Collaborate with the HR team for continuous improvement of employee orientation, onboarding, and offboarding experience. Coordinate and schedule new hire and random background screening and drug testing program(s) based on client-specific requirements and/or third-party consortiums as assigned. Complete assigned HR administrative tasks accurately and timely per HR procedures. In collaboration with the VP-HR, assist managers with employee relations matters and Company policy administration. Advocate for, support and motivate a positive Company culture through company-wide relationship building, team collaboration, and team events. As part of the corporate HR team, collaborate with all corporate functions and business units on joint HR and business initiatives/requirements. Understand and follow all federal, state, and local legal requirements based on Company practices and applicable regulations. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience and Skills The successful candidate will possess the following: Bachelor's degree in human resources or business required. SHRM's CP or SCP credential(s) a plus. 5 years of hands-on professional and/or technical recruiting experience is required. Recruiting experience in Engineering/Architecture consulting or professional services industry preferred. 5 years of hands-on human resources experience required to include employee orientation/onboarding/offboarding, employee HR support, high-level benefits understanding, and basic employee relations. 2 years of hands-on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Understanding of full cycle recruiting methods and best practices required. Experience with workplace federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Highly effective and engaging verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills required with all levels in the organization. High degree of professionalism and confidentiality required. High degree of integrity in adhering to corporate policy and within all HR activities required. Strong ability to take initiative, work independently, be self-motivated, and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Work experience in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
