HR Generalist (Temporary to Hire) – Hybrid 2 days in office a week

Time to Hire: Immediate – Start Date 11/11

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and versatile HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in a temporary to hire role at our client East of Pittsburgh. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to various aspects of human resources management while providing exceptional customer service to our internal clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruitment management: Job posting, Resume screening, Interview coordination
  • Employee lifecycle management: Onboarding and offboarding processes, Performance management, Goal setting support
  • Benefits administration: Program management, Employee inquiry resolution
  • HR record keeping: Maintain accurate employee records, Update HR databases
  • Compliance and policy management: Develop and implement HR policies, Ensure compliance with employment laws, Provide HR guidance to employees and managers
  • Employee engagement: Contribute to company culture programs, Support internal communication initiatives
  • Reporting and analytics: Prepare HR reports, Support data-driven HR decision making

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Generalist roles
  • Strong knowledge of: HR practices, Employment laws and regulations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in: HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Preferred

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • Payroll processing experience helpful
  • Diverse industry HR experience
  • Corporate service center background
