Aegis Combat Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance. This position requires a strong background in leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1F Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager (MPM/DMPM) in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidanceAttend high-level briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issuesMaintain a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefingsMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university3+ years of Navy fleet experienceMust be a former Junior US Naval OfficerStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications:

Experience with the AEGIS Combat SystemAbility to research program information and adapt and re-use relevant information from other briefsExperience working with SharePoint and ConfluenceClearance Requirements:

Must possess a current or active U.S. Government Secret Security clearance.Must be a U.S. CitizenPhysical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $73,500.00-$122,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
