Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Navy Combat Systems Analyst to join our team in the Washington, D.C. Navy Yard. Occasional travel may be required in this position. Travel will primarily be to Moorestown, NJ and San Diego, CA if required.
Job Summary:
This position will support the PEO IWS 1AD (Software) Baseline 10 Manager providing programmatic andtechnical support to the development and modernization of SW baselines to support future Navycombat systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1AD Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) in maintaining oversight of Aegis baseline SW development status and testingAttend high-level briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the PAPMDevelop or contribute to briefs and presentationsTrack and report on program risksMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in in any general field of study from an accredited college or university5+ years of experience supporting US Navy Surface Ship Combat Systems Engineering or acquisition.Must have some familiarity with DoD/DON Policies and Procedures related to systems engineering, SW development, sustainment, and system level testing.Good communication and briefing skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience related to the identification, analysis and resolution of complex systems engineering issues involving the modernization and evolution of Navy weapon and combat systems.Experience with Aegis combat systems operation or developmentPrior experience working in a NAVSEA program officeClearance Requirements:
Must possess an active or current U.S. Government Secret security clearance and U.S. CitizenshipPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00-$155,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
