The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in Spark in Scala, Databricks, Unity Catalog Admin, Amazon Redshift, Python, Databricks SQL, Databricks Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, and PySpark. Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.Responsibilities:Data Architect experience with data modelling for IoT data.Experience with AWS is a must.Experience with Edge computing preferred.Responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Big Data stack such as Databricks, Spark, Scala, Python, AWS S3, Glue, ETL, Redshift.Design Ingress and Egress patterns for data lake to support self-service use cases and improve time to business value.Implement CI/CD data pipelines using GitHub, GHA, and Artifactory to automate the code build and promotion process.Engage with customers and principal architects to understand the business requirements and build AWS cloud big data platform and solutions.Create proof of concepts, implement frameworks, evaluate new products, and develop a roadmap for NextGen Technology and Digital Cloud First strategy.Engage in projects as needed, work collaboratively with other team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to team success.Lead technical discussions with both internal and external vendors.Provide cost analysis and recommendations for the platform technologies so that the client can make effective decisions on platform technology.The annual salary for this position is between $145,000 – 155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits:
