Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Attorney
to join the Business Practice Group at a distinguished bi-coastal law firm. This partner-level role provides a platform for managing and expanding a diverse corporate clientele, while handling a range of corporate governance and capital raise transactions for early-stage brands and emerging companies.Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel clients on corporate governance and structure sophisticated transactions across multiple sectors.Advise on capital raise transactions involving various financing sources such as angel investors, venture funds, and traditional banks.Lead private offerings, debt, and equity financing rounds, with additional focus on public company, capital markets, and M&A matters.Qualifications7+ years of experience in representing early-stage and emerging brands, with extensive knowledge in capital raise transactions.Partial portable book of business is required.JD from an ABA-accredited law school and a license to practice law.Strong academic record, analytical skills, and client-centered approach.Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects, with strong communication skills and responsiveness.Salary and BenefitsSalary Range : $200,000 to $325,000 annually (adjusted for experience, location, and qualifications).Comprehensive Benefits Package : Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with employer contributions; commuter allowance; disability and life insurance; parental leave; billable credit hours for DEI and pro bono work; and annual bonus.
