The Business Lead Analyst is responsible for supporting the overall strategic, operational and administrative activities of US Branded Cards & Unsecured Lending. The position will support Business Execution activities such as regulatory, compliance, continuity of business, expense management, resource management, strategic projects and coordination of other administrative needs. Additional work on ad hoc projects is expected.Responsibilities:Strategic Projects
Support gathering quarterly GPCC industry information and providing analysisAssist with US Personal Banking and Branded Cards leadership presentationsResearch key topics impacting the industry including digital wallets and Gen Z trendsDigest regulatory landscape researching and quantifying the impact of proposed legislation and legal action within the credit card and payments industryCoordinate with USPB Analytics to aggregate and promulgate existing customer trendsRegulatory & Compliance
Management of Resolution & Recovery Planning deliverables for US Branded CardsSupport delivery of quarterly USPB and external regulatory reportsContinuity of Business Coordinator for Business ExecutionRecords Management Lead for Business ExecutionThird Party Vendor Business Activity Owner supportExpense Management
Support coordination of Strategy Reviews and Deal Review ForumsSupport forecast management for various expense line itemsQualifications:
Required:Minimum of 3 years of business analysis experienceExperience creating presentations and project management documentationProficiency building spreadsheets including pivot tablesConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussionsAbility to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledgeTeam player with cross functional relationship management skillsPreferred:Track record as a Business Analyst within Financial Services for at least 5 yearsKnowledge of Bank regulators and understanding of reporting requirementsExperience generating content for Managing Director/C-Suite executivesEducation:
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experienceResource Management
